I have worked front line in the inner city for over 30 years. I have witnessed the evolution of the EPS and am so proud to be part of the process. We have been so fortunate to have compassionate and caring officers with boots on the ground. These individuals have shown an understanding of the struggles of the most vulnerable in our city. As with anything when humans are involved some are more able to be effective and some find it to be a challenge. The "beat cops" I have worked with are what I envisioned a police officer to be. Keep up the excellent work. There are so many of us who appreciate all you do for us!
